AeroStatus - Now in Russian!
NICOSIA, Cyprus--(BUSINESS WIRE)--At last, AeroStatus, the foremost provider of flight status information to mobile devices worldwide, is now available in Russian to users of Russian mobile network operators.
AeroStatus provides a unique and useful service, allowing any user of a mobile phone to instantly access up to date information about the status of virtually any commercial flight. The user is able to access this service from anywhere in the world, in the language of their choice, absolutely free of charge.
Due to the use of innovative technologies and special data processing methods, AeroStatus is unrivalled and is exclusive in its provision of real-time flight status information to mobile phone users.
It is incredibly intuitive and simple: in order to use AeroStatus, the mobile phone user just needs to send an SMS with the flight number to +7-905-700-7000 (this number is specially reserved for Russian mobile networks). Almost instantly, the user will receive all the current flight details via SMS.
“In the recent past, there has been a significant increase in the number of requests from users of Russian mobiles, as well as more requests about flights operated by Russian airlines,” says Vladimir Spirin, President and CEO of AeroStatus Corporation. “In order to respond to these circumstances, it was decided to add the Russian language to an already multilingual service. Unfortunately, at present not all Russian airlines provide current information about their flights, in particular charter flights, which means that we reluctantly have to inform AeroStatus users of the unavailability of information for a particular flight status request. We hope that with the arrival of AeroStatus to the Russian market this situation will change rapidly through increased cooperation between the airlines and AeroStatus. This would ensure that Russian users receive the same high level of service as is enjoyed by our many users in North America, Europe and Asia. We therefore warmly invite all Russian airlines and airports to partner with us, as together we will be able to noticeably improve the quality of information that is available to Russian travelers. Most importantly, all this would be completely free for both the users as well as the airlines and airports.”
