Sparton Navigation and Exploration Announces Overview Webinar for the NorthTek™ Development System

DE LEON SPRINGS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sparton Corporation (NYSE: SPA) recently introduced the new NorthTek™ Development System, a new paradigm for DC-4 and GEDC-6 navigation sensor in-compass customizations. An interactive webinar is scheduled to provide an overview of NorthTek™, and introduce current and prospective customers to the system capabilities and benefits of in-compass program customizations.
Sparton’s NorthTek™ allows users virtually limitless customizations and applications:
- Fully programmable in-field calibration customizations, determination based upon different calibration sets
- Scripts for emergency situation monitoring to determine if the platform is inverted or in a free fall
- Programmable digital compass magnetometer, accelerometer and gyro sensor output data
- Customized compass variables, i.e. in compass signal processing
Sparton engineers will outline the NorthTek™ Development System which positions the DC-4 and GEDC-6 navigation sensors as the world’s only fully programmable digital compasses. Sparton’s webinar will provide interactivity to bridge the gap between engineer and consumer by offering a question and answer session throughout the meeting.
