Extraits --- For example, when we talk about the Ryanair model we do so with a significant insight. We have the Ryan family on board as investors. I can tell you personally from painful ear bashings, that having Declan Ryan at the board table ensures a whole different level of discipline towards cost control, than working for a legacy carrier. Our successful entry into the domestic market has shown not only that there is plenty of room for Tiger but that we have a product that Australian consumers are snapping up in their hundreds of thousands. How has Tiger Airways Australia Gone? So how has it gone so far? The answer is simple - Fantastic! Et ------- So why are we choosing the A319? There are significant cost advantages associated with operating variants of the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. The airframes and engines are essentially identical between our A320 and A319 aircraft – this will result in significant savings and therefore lower costs. Almost 96% of all of the components are identical in both the A320 and A319 aircraft, requiring less spares to be carried by our engineering team and we will have full flexibility to interchange our pilots between either aircraft type. Commonality between the A319 and A320 is far greater than the commonality between the A320 and A321, and pails into insignificance compared with the additional costs of operating a different fleet such as Embraers. We believe a combination of A320s Bien ! juste ! et sans commentaire !
