BAE Systems to Provide Security Services to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under $650 Million Contract
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAE Systems is extending its security services to the U.S. government as part of a $650 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Under the contract, which has four other awardees, the company is eligible to bid on a series of task orders for services over five years.

BAE Systems provides similar capabilities to the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and other customers in need of security-critical environments. For the Army Corps of Engineers, the company will provide a range of services, including design, engineering, installation, and ongoing maintenance, to heighten electronic security at military bases and other government sites. These services will cross the entire life cycle of small- to large-scale integrated systems.

Five companies, including BAE Systems, were selected to support the Army Corps of Engineers on the contract. The value could reach a total of $650 million for all companies involved.
BAE Systems will provide engineers, field technicians, project managers, and other highly-trained employees. The contract will be managed from North Charleston, South Carolina and the work will be conducted at North Charleston; Huntsville, Alabama; and other U.S. government sites as needed.
BAE Systems Support Solutions provides a range of services to meet needs in readiness and sustainment and operational support across the land, aviation, maritime, and C4ISR domains, supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and federal agencies.
