NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAE Systems is extending its security services to the U.S. government as part of a $650 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Under the contract, which has four other awardees, the company is eligible to bid on a series of task orders for services over five years.
“These systems are critical to protecting the warfighter and Army assets, both here and abroad”
BAE Systems provides similar capabilities to the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and other customers in need of security-critical environments. For the Army Corps of Engineers, the company will provide a range of services, including design, engineering, installation, and ongoing maintenance, to heighten electronic security at military bases and other government sites.
