InJet Offers Eco-Friendly Flying with TerraPass Partnership
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It’s nothing but blue skies for InJet members, and the private jet services provider wants to keep it that way. That’s why InJet is going green through its partnership with TerraPass, a leading consumer retailer and marketer of greenhouse gas reduction offsets.
Through the partnership, InJet members can subscribe to offset the carbon emissions from their flights—essentially erasing their air travel carbon footprint.
“The InJet jet card is an important tool for families and businesses that allows flexible, guaranteed access to private jets, and now—on top of all our industry-leading services—flights can be completely carbon neutral,” InJet’s Chief Operating Officer Suran Wijayawardana said. “It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to keeping the skies clean for generations to come.”
Private jets emit approximately 2 metric tons to 5 metric tons of carbon dioxide per hour. To offset these emissions, InJet members are offered the option to enroll in the program for a fee. Proceeds are then invested in projects that offset greenhouse gasses, such as clean energy from wind farms and landfill gas capture.
“InJet is committed to providing its members with the very best,” InJet’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Anthony Johns said. “This option allows our members to continue their success in the air with the peace of mind that InJet is certified green.”
