Baker/LPA’s Claudia Holliway Elected to AAAE Board of Directors
PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The LPA Group Incorporated, a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex: BKR), has announced that Claudia B. Holliway, national aviation business developer, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
Based in Washington, D.C., AAAE is comprised of 5,000-plus airport officials representing nearly 850 airports, both commercial and general aviation, in addition to over 500 corporate entities dedicated to serving the airport industry. As a board member, Holliway, one of only two corporate members among the 26-member board, will be responsible for upholding and voting upon all business issues related to the overall organization, as well as providing corporate member input at the policy level. In addition to this two-year position, Holliway will serve as vice-chair of the AAAE Corporate Committee.
Holliway, LPA’s national aviation business developer since early 2006, leads new business development, direct client relationships, teaming strategies and political strategies. Prior to joining LPA, she served as vice president of a Nashville, Tennessee-based construction management consulting firm with an emphasis on aviation. Holliway was recently named the AAAE Southeast Chapter Corporate Member of the Year and the Georgia Airports Association Corporate Member of the Year. In addition, she is a member of AAAE Southeast Chapter, Chapter Board of Directors Director-at-Large; Florida Airports Council; Georgia Airports Association; South Carolina Aviation Association; Airports Council International-North America; and Airport Consultants Council.
