The conference will feature high-level speakers and panels examining the state of technology and capabilities in the commercial space transportation sector, including new space technologies, government customers for commercial space, and commercial space transportation regulatory issues.
Noted speakers include: Dr. George C. Nield, associate administrator for Commercial Space Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration; Robert T. Bigelow, founder and president, Bigelow Aerospace; Brewster H. Shaw, vice president and general manager, Boeing Space Exploration, Boeing Defense, Space and Security, The Boeing Company; Joe Engle, former X-15 pilot and space shuttle astronaut; Michael C. Dr. Nield, general chair of the conference, stated: “The 14th annual FAA Commercial Space Transportation Conference promises to be an exciting event that should be attended by Federal policymakers and policy implementers, industry representatives, and subject matter experts.
