Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary traffic results for November 2011. Frontier’s traffic increased 6%, to 1.0 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while capacity was down 2%, at 1.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Frontier Airlines served 1.2 million passengers in November, a 5% increase from November 2010. November had a load factor of 88% compared to 81% in the same month last year. It was Frontier’s fifth consecutive record monthly load factor.

Republic Airways Reports November 2011 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for November 2011. The Company generated 1.7 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was 2% higher than the same month last year, on a decrease in capacity of 2% at 2.0 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 74,072 in November 2011, a decrease of 3% from November 2010. Consolidated load factor was 81% in November of 2011 versus 78% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.5 million passengers during the month, which was essentially unchanged from the same month last year.
