WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Top SEWP IV contractor TKC Integration Services, LLC (TKCIS), a Washington, D.C. area company that provides a comprehensive range of lifecycle technology solutions to the federal government, has teamed with Horizon Data Center Solutions of Plano, Texas, to offer Cloud Computing solutions to government agencies through their NASA SEWP IV contract.
“The addition of the vStructure Cloud Computing platform offerings enables agencies to procure cloud computing solutions and have their applications outsourced in a timely manner. SEWP makes it simple to comply with federal CIO Vivek Kundra’s Federal Cloud First policy”
Monthly solution bundles for vStructure Cloud Computing on SEWP IV allow agencies to expand their access to firm-fixed price contracts for state-of-the-art computer technologies. Cloud computing packages will include HDCS hardware, software and outsourced colocation solutions, along with product training, warranty and maintenance.
“NASA’s vision of SEWP, ‘to be the premier customer-focused contract vehicle for federal government purchase of IT products,’ has made the contract a compelling option for government agencies to find the most advanced IT solutions available. Provisioning cloud solutions and colocation on SEWP greatly simplifies the process for agencies that want to reduce their reliance on federal data centers and migrate applications to a reliable alternative quickly and efficiently,” said Joel Lipkin General Manager of TKCIS. “The addition of the vStructure Cloud Computing platform offerings enables agencies to procure cloud computing solutions and have their applications outsourced in a timely manner. SEWP makes it simple to comply with federal CIO Vivek Kundra’s Federal Cloud First policy,” he added.
According to Lance Black, CEO of Horizon Data Center Solutions, “Federal integrators have found that our vStructure platform is the right solution for their government clients. The purpose built architecture is comprised of HP Blade servers and 3PAR storage, and is virtualized with VMware. Our entire system is supported by a world class network of Tier III data centers in Northern Virginia and Texas for ultimate security and reliability.”
