PURCHASE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) (Nasdaq: AAWW), a leading global provider of outsourced aircraft and aviation operating services, today announced that its Atlas Air, Inc. unit launched its first military passenger charter flight for the U.S. Defense Department’s (DoD) Air Mobility Command (AMC) from Fort Bragg’s Pope Army Air Field in Fayetteville, N.C. to Southwest Asia.
