Cytec Showcases Applications Engineering Expertise at Carbon Fiber 2011 Conference
WOODLAND PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) today announced Carmelo Lo Faro, Vice President of Technology, Engineered Materials will be speaking at CompositesWorld's Carbon Fiber 2011 conference. The conference is being held December 5, 6 and 7 at the Washington Marriott in Washington, DC.

Carbon Fiber 2011 brings together fiber suppliers, prepregers, composite part manufacturers and end users to discuss all aspects of the carbon fiber industry including market opportunities, new technologies and manufacturing process improvements. “We are at an inflection point in the composite materials industry as we transition to a high rate of adoption across many platforms,” said Chris Pederson, Vice President Aerospace, Engineered Materials. “Through leadership participation in cross-industry forums we increase communication and knowledge sharing, putting us in a better position to collectively advance the industry and make this transition successful.”
