Dépèche transmise le 28 novembre 2011 par Business Wire
PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dataram Corporation (Nasdaq: DRAM), a leading international manufacturer of computer memory, storage and software products, today released the findings of a report conducted by the Lockheed Martin Technology Collaboration Center-West (TCC-W).
“XcelaSAN Performance Results from Lockheed Martin TCC West.”
The Lockheed Martin Technology Collaboration Center-West offers unique capabilities to companies wishing to test and collaborate on leading-edge and Open Architecture (OA) technologies in close proximity to major defense and commercial partners. TCC-W fosters beneficial partnerships with small businesses, science and technology agencies and academia to accelerate product transition. Through small business technology innovation events, industry days and on-line registration, TCC-W seeks businesses and technologies with potential to benefit ongoing programs and development activity.
The intent of the testing performed by TCC-W was to verify that XcelaSAN would accelerate application data access using a SAN that is similar to hardware that is used in an environment representative of Navy’s POR Networks. The metrics used for comparison were Input/output Operations per second (IOps), Total MBs per second (MBps) and average response time. As depicted in the report, the XcelaSAN product improved data access performance by 60% across all three metrics. The detailed findings of the report are available at http://storage.dataram.com/mediacenter/whitepapers by selecting the white paper entitled, “XcelaSAN Performance Results from Lockheed Martin TCC West.”
“Given the high regard in which the U.S. government holds Lockheed Martin, we are fortunate to have worked with Lockheed Martin TCC-W to test XcelaSAN and our capabilities,” said John Freeman, CEO of Dataram. “Data explosion and the resulting impact on network performance is an issue many companies are learning to navigate. We encourage customers dealing with this issue to obtain and review a copy of the report prepared by TCC-W.”
