Eyelit’s Award-winning Integrated Manufacturing Execution (MES) Software Selected by centrotherm photovoltaics AG as OEM Solution for Shan Solar Pvt Ltd., PV Panel Producer in India
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today that centrotherm photovoltaics AG, the world’s leading provider of technology and equipment for the photovoltaic and semiconductor sectors, has selected Eyelit’s Enterprise Manufacturing Execution Suite for its PV module production.
“We chose Eyelit’s MES software solution because the system is designed with a modular architecture, is highly scalable and stable, and has great overall performance. It exactly matches the requirements for this project”
centrotherm delivers a complete turnkey solution that easily scales to meet the individual needs of its customers. Eyelit’s solution is a flexible and extensible system that leverages modular software components. This modular design enables centrotherm to mix and match system components as they configure Eyelit’s software solution for various joint projects.
Eyelit and centrotherm have embarked on their first joint venture for Shan Solar Pvt Ltd, a crystalline-silicon PV panel manufacturing plant that recently started production in Chennai, India. The plant is currently able to produce 30 MW of solar modules per year, and Shan Solar will ramp up to 100 MW after a projected expansion. Eyelit MES, Asset Management, Executive Dashboard, and Client Reporting will be used to track, monitor, and provide product visibility throughout the manufacturing process, and to support Shan Solar’s production ramp.
“We chose Eyelit’s MES software solution because the system is designed with a modular architecture, is highly scalable and stable, and has great overall performance. It exactly matches the requirements for this project,” said Volker Buschendorf, Head of MES, centrotherm photovoltaics AG.
“We are excited about this OEM partnership. centrotherm has over thirty years of expertise in the photovoltaic industry and is one of the largest equipment suppliers on the market. The fact that they chose Eyelit after a competitive selection process further validates the unique capabilities of Eyelit’s software. We enjoy a close working relationship with centrotherm and SYSTEMA, and look forward to expanding our partnership in future ventures,” stated Dan Estrada, Eyelit’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
