IFE Services Talks About In-Flight Entertainment at Latin American Content Show

A leading in-flight entertainment (IFE) provider has given an educational presentation to the Latin American movie and TV industry at the Ventana Sur event in Buenos Aires.

IFE Services, a leading in-flight entertainment (IFE) provider, gave a presentation at this year's Ventana Sur show in Buenos Aires to help Latin American film and TV show producers put their content on-board aircraft.

The company, which has more than 20 years of experience in the IFE industry, discussed how content is chosen by airlines after factoring in budgets, passenger demographics and cultural sensitivities. The presentation explained how detailed research helps to identify the best available and most appropriate content, sourcing from both Hollywood studios as well as independent film and TV distributors.

Some of the Latin American movies IFE Services has licensed to its airline clients in the region recently include box office hits such as 'Un Cuento Chino', 'El Hombre De Al Lado' and 'Mandrill'. For TV shows, the content service provider (CSP) licenses popular local programmes from the major distributors in South America such as Globo, Alto Los Andes and TV Ecuador.
