ITT Exelis Appoints Anderson to Lead its Mission Systems Strategic Initiatives
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ITT Exelis (NYSE: XLS) has appointed Chuck Anderson vice president and director of strategic initiatives for its Colorado Springs-based Mission Systems business area.

A retired Army general officer, Anderson, 53, will serve as the integrating official responsible for executing and delivering on a centralized portfolio of projects reflecting the division’s strategic priorities. Based in Colorado Springs, he will report to Ken Hunzeker, president of the Mission Systems division of Exelis.
“Chuck Anderson served the Army with distinction for nearly 32 years and retired as a major general,” said Hunzeker. “He brings an intimate knowledge of the operating requirements for our military and government customers. We are pleased to welcome him to this important position.”
Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy, as well as master’s degrees in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College; physical education from Indiana University; systems management from the University of Southern California; and business administration from Long Island University.
