Lone Star Overnight Announces 2012 Published Rates That Continue to Deliver Superior Value
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lone Star Overnight (LSO), a Texas-based regional overnight package delivery company, has announced new, innovative service features for its customers and 2012 published rates that continue to be an excellent value versus those of the national package carriers.
“At LSO, we understand that every package we deliver is our customer’s most important package. We’re proud to continue our long-standing commitment of delivering high value at competitive prices, helping our customers to grow their businesses.”
“We recognize that for our customers to compete in their respective markets, they need a shipping partner that can be every bit as responsive and nimble as they are, and LSO is dedicated to delivering on that need,” said Lone Star Overnight’s CEO Rick Jones. “At LSO, we understand that every package we deliver is our customer’s most important package. We’re proud to continue our long-standing commitment of delivering high value at competitive prices, helping our customers to grow their businesses.”
Thanks in part to ongoing investments in technology and operational capabilities, LSO continues to offer competitive rates while at the same time providing the highly responsive, flexible and reliable service that shippers must have in today’s economy.
In late January, LSO will also introduce two new service features that will provide customers with additional secure shipping options. LSO HIPAA service will feature personnel trained in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) confidentiality provisions and a Recipient Signature Required service so that shippers can request delivery restricted to a specific individual. Additionally, LSO Simple, introduced earlier in 2011, will continue to expand customer choices by providing an express service pricing option that matches the leading national competitors’ published rates for the equivalent 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. overnight services but with no per package pickup fees, residential delivery fees, remote delivery fees or fuel surcharges.
