MISUMI Adds New Models to Miniature Conveyor Product Line, Including Cost-Efficient SV Series in Lengths up to 3000mm
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), recently introduced several new models to its line of configurable Miniature Conveyors. The company has also added a variety of new belts and accessories to allow users to adapt the conveying devices to their specific functions and applications. With these additions, MISUMI now offers 21 different Mini Conveyor models, as well as eight (8) standard flat belt types and seven (7) cross-piece grooved flat belts.
The new Mini Conveyor model additions include:
SVKA, SVKB ‒ Features flat belt, single track head drive (pulley diameter 30mm). Available in five different belt widths (from 50mm to 250mm), with single-phase or 3-phase induction motor or variable speed motor. Length is configurable in 5mm increments from 300mm to 3,000mm. They are offered with standard as well as meander-prevention crosspiece belts. In addition to being offered in longer lengths than most standard units, the SV Series offers an economical choice, running about 20 percent less in cost than comparable CVSA models.
CVSFA, CVSFB, CVSFC, CVSFD ‒ Features full-width belt, single track head drive, 2 or 3 groove frame type (pulley diameter 30mm or 50mm). Available with single-phase or 3-phase motor or variable speed motor. Belt width is configurable in 10mm increments from 60 to 300mm. Length is configurable in 5mm increments from 280 to 2000mm. Even with full-width belt, this model offers a space-saving design, especially helpful when multiple conveyors are used in parallel runs. They are offered with standard as well as meander-prevention crosspiece belts.
CVSSA ‒ Features a food-grade 304 Stainless Steel sheet metal belt, single track head drive and 3-groove frame type (pulley diameter 50mm). Available with single-phase or 3-phase motor or variable speed motor. Belt width is configurable in 10mm increments from 40 to 150mm. Length is configurable in 5mm increments from 250 to 2000mm. An ideal choice for conveyance of foods and other specialized products.
All Mini Conveyor frames are constructed of rigid, lightweight extruded aluminum with anodized finish for superior corrosion protection. For all versions except the CVSSA Stainless Steel Belt model, the Mini Conveyor belt options include: General Purpose, Sliding, Static Conductive, Oil Resistant, Food Grade, and Non-Sticky Food Grade Belts. Shipping times for the configurable Mini Conveyors products range from 11 to 17 days, depending on model and options selected.
MISUMI’s also offers a full line of Mini Conveyor accessories, including:
- Miniature Roller Sheets (MICRO), utilizing low friction, small diameter ABS plastic rollers to enable smooth transfer of boxes, bottles and cans at slight incline angles.
- Miniature Roller Chutes (MCRSLD), made of 304 Stainless Steel, for use with the Miniature Roller Sheets.
