GREENSBORO, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO):

Clear Channel Airports (CCA), the world’s leading marketer of airport advertising and a division of one of the world’s largest outdoor advertising companies, Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO); Phillips Collection, a High Point, North Carolina-based contemporary furniture company; Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI), the strategically positioned airport, serving Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” the riveting ABC reality television series hosted Ty Pennington that provides home renovations for deserving families and communities. |
WHAT: |
Phillips Collection partnered with Clear Channel Airports to showcase its striking furniture designs and home accessories in an exhibit located in the South Concourse of Piedmont Airport. A team of designers from “Extreme Make Over – Home Edition” were traveling through PTI and took notice of Clear Channel Airports’ Phillips Collection display. The design team then visited the Phillips Collection headquarters in High Point – the “Furniture Capital of the World” – to hunt for pieces for use in an upcoming two-part episode. |
| The episodes follow the Extreme Makeover team as they travel to Maryland to help the family of a teen, who lost his hand in an accident and has given to his family and community in many selfless ways. In a race against time on a project that would ordinarily take months to achieve, the team of designers, along with hundreds of workmen and area volunteers, have just a few short days to completely renovate an entire house. | |||||||
WHY: |
Clear Channel Airports is proud to support Phillips Collection’s appearance in the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” episode to enhance the Johnson-Goslee Family’s home environment and to showcase the effective role that airport advertising plays in the overall media landscape.
| Phillips Collection is a long-time, valued Clear Channel Airports advertiser, as their relationship dates back to 2006. Based on the success of its South Concourse advertising exhibit, Phillips has decided to broaden its partnership with Clear Channel Airports to include a multi-year agreement for a similar display area in PTI’s North Concourse. Clear Channel Airports’ wide range of advertising platforms, from exhibits to digital displays, captures the attention of more than 1.6 million passengers traveling through Piedmont Airport annually. | |||||||
WHEN: |
Both parts of the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” series special, featuring the Phillips Collection furniture, aired on Friday, December 9th at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT.
WHERE: |
The Phillips Collection display can now be seen in the South Concourse of PTI. The North Concourse exhibit will be viewable starting December 23rd. |
