Winston International Selects Transplace to Manage Inbound Shipments from China

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management and logistics technology announced today that Winston Company has selected the award-winning 3PL to manage inbound United States shipments from Ningbo, China.

Winston Company is a leading toy manufacturer for the world’s largest retailers. The company specializes in the production of scooters and quad cars. Transplace will also manage specific domestic services for Winston beginning in 2012.

Winston will utilize Transplace to provide visibility into inbound ocean containers from Asia to the toy manufacturer’s facility in Long Beach, assisting with inventory management and significantly minimizing the level of manual work involved in Winston’s daily operations. Additionally, Transplace will provide vendor management training to staff on-site in China and ensure that all processes and procedures flow smoothly at point of origin.
