DDi Corp. Awarded AS9100C Certification for its Toronto Facility
ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DDi Corp. (NASDAQ: DDIC), a leading provider of time-critical, technologically advanced electronic interconnect design, engineering and manufacturing services, announced today that it has received AS9100C certification for its Toronto facility.
“We are very proud of our team in Toronto, and the milestone this location has achieved with AS9100C certification. Further, we are continuing our efforts to secure additional certifications for our facilities to strengthen our performance capabilities and standards of operational execution going forward.”
The AS9100 is the quality management system (QMS) standard for the aviation, space and defense industries. The Aerospace Basic Quality System Standard was developed by a group of US aerospace prime contractors under the auspices of the Society of Automotive Engineers and is based in ISO 9000 (International Organization for Standardization).
AS9100C outlines global standards for best practices that meet the unique and complex requirements of the aerospace industry. It requires strict adherence to quality and reliability standards in aerospace, and documentation of procedures, rigorous quality measurements and corrective actions to drive consistency in mission-critical products.
“Receiving AS9100 certification at our Toronto facility is a further reflection of our company-wide efforts to focus our quality standards, certifications and customer service to better meet the needs of the defense, military and aerospace customers in order to gain additional share of this market," stated Mikel H. Williams, President and CEO of DDi Corp. "We are very proud of our team in Toronto, and the milestone this location has achieved with AS9100C certification. Further, we are continuing our efforts to secure additional certifications for our facilities to strengthen our performance capabilities and standards of operational execution going forward."
