North Atlantic Industries Announces Building Expansion — Marking 20 Years of Sustained Growth

BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--North Atlantic Industries (NAI) unveiled plans today for a major expansion of their manufacturing and engineering facility located at 110 Wilbur Place, Bohemia, NY; and announced newly appointed Chief Operations Officer Mr. Eugene Rudland—a 26-year industry veteran fully aligned with the company’s growth strategies.

“The additional space will allow us to continue to increase our product offerings and meet the unique needs of our customers—with an expanded role in critical military and aerospace programs.”

Construction on the 35,000 square foot addition is scheduled to begin May, 2012. The existing headquarters, located in the heart of Long Island’s High Tech Corridor, occupies a modern 30,000 square feet. The expanded facility will total 65,000 square feet—more than doubling the size of the existing space, and will be used to accommodate additional state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing equipment and personnel.

Mr. Eugene Rudland has extensive contract manufacturing experience and a track record of success in leading manufacturing businesses. He brings in-depth experience in PCB manufacturing, Box Build and System Integration and has had significant success employing data driven, lean manufacturing practices. Past experience includes General Manager of one of Sanmina-SCI’s largest US-based factories; and most recently COO of NAI’s largest board assembly sub-contractor.
