Setpoint Systems Augments Management Team
OGDEN, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Setpoint Systems (http://www.setpointusa.com), a leader in design and manufacture of custom lean automation solutions and manufacturing equipment, today announced that Shane Aardema has joined their management team, in the role of Project Manager. Aardema has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Chemistry from Weber State University, an endorsement from the American Chemical Society and over 17 years of industrial chemical experience in a variety of industries.
Aardema will initially be working on a Setpoint project at the U.S. Army's ammunition facility in Independence, Missouri. Aardema relishes the task. "I'm really enjoying the challenges involved with the process. Our end goal is to continue building the best ammunition possible, while minimizing the environmental impact. If we can establish sustainable green processes for this project, as well as others, the environmental impacts that are often inherent to manufacturing can be dramatically altered."
Mark Coy, President of Setpoint Systems, noted that Aardema is a valuable and welcome addition to the Setpoint team. "Shane brings a skill set to the table that we haven't previously had here at Setpoint. His experience in the chemical industry is not only a great fit for several of our current projects, but it also dovetails nicely with many of the long-term 'green initiatives' that we have in mind for our Industrial Automation Systems. We're very pleased to have Shane on our team."
