Thomas C. Hutton Named CEO of PAS Technologies
KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PAS Technologies Inc. (PAS or the Company) is pleased to announce that Tom Hutton has joined the management team of PAS as CEO. Mr. Hutton has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry in operational and executive roles, serving most recently as Vice President of Pratt & Whitney’s Global Service Partners. In the new organizational structure, Phil Milazzo will continue to serve as the Company’s President, working in close partnership with Mr. Hutton and leading the Company’s business development and customer relationship activities. The combined leadership of Mr. Hutton and Mr. Milazzo will create a dynamic collaboration in the aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) market. Mr. Hutton will join Mr. Milazzo on the Company’s Board of Directors and the Company’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Hutton joins PAS from Pratt & Whitney where he most recently served as Vice President of its Global Service Partners, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul portfolio for the last year. In this role, Mr. Hutton has had executive leadership responsibility for Pratt & Whitney’s global aerospace engine repair, maintenance and overhaul operations. Prior to this role, Mr. Hutton spent approximately four and a half years as Vice President of Pratt & Whitney’s Global Service Partners - Repair business where he had primary responsibility for 16 component repair facilities and over 3,500 associates. Prior to this role, Mr. Hutton spent 19 years in various engineering and management rolls with progressing responsibilities with United Technologies Corporation, both at Pratt & Whitney and Sikorsky Aircraft.
Mr. Hutton earned degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Greater New Haven State Technical College in 1985 and in Industrial Technology-Manufacturing from Central Connecticut State University in 1989. Mr. Hutton was also a Sloan Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a Masters in Business Administration in 2004. Mr. Hutton has participated in a number of other operational and executive education courses and has contributed to lean manufacturing programs at the Darden Graduate School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University and the Harvard Business School. In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Hutton has served on the board of several charitable organizations, including his current role as a director of the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, Connecticut.
