Vitech Corporation Announces 2011 Sales Up by 13%
BLACKSBURG, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--David Long, president of Vitech Corporation, announced today that his firm’s sales of systems engineering products and services showed an overall growth of 13% for 2011 over 2010, both for domestic sales as well as foreign. The firm provides custom model-based systems engineering (MBSE) product solutions, services and training for government, military, aerospace and commercial firms worldwide.
“MBSE appears to be increasing in popularity”
“We track our firm’s professional system design services, training services, software sales and software maintenance,” added Doug Johnston, Vitech’s chief financial officer, “and overall growth was up 13%. The growth in training and software maintenance (18% and 26%, respectively) are particularly encouraging because those tend to be leading indicators of software sales growth potential.
“MBSE appears to be increasing in popularity,” added Long, “as military and aerospace contractors embrace it as a tool to reduce risk, and control deadlines and accountability.”
With major updates to its existing software solution and the debut of a much anticipated new product in Q4 2011, Vitech anticipates strong growth in 2012.
Vitech Corporation is best-known for their software solutions integrating requirements management, system architecture, and model simulation to bring clarity to complex designs, including their CORE® and recently introduced GENESYS™ product lines.
