VSE Corporation Named among Prime Contractors for Air Force Design & Engineering Support Program
ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VSE Corporation (Nasdaq GS: VSEC) was selected as one of the 27 prime contractors for the Air Force’s Design & Engineering Support Program for the next seven years. The program has a potential cumulative value of approximately $1.9 billion for this multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Each of the prime contractors is eligible to compete for task orders under this multiple award contract.

The Design & Engineering Support Program was established to provide a broad range of engineering services in support of any system or subsystem within the Air Force and the other Department of Defense services. The engineering services are to support specific objectives which focus on improving system life cycle cost, operational life, performance, sustainment including maintainability and support, and safety and environmental friendliness.

The contract is managed by the Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah; with services open throughout the Department of Defense and numerous locations. The contract term will expire in January 2019.
