Partnership Embraces Growing use of Credits for Holiday Purchases

STOKE, England, February 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Travel, entertainment and leisure specialists EZE Group have joined forces with one of the UK's leading travel entrepreneurs to offer even more opportunities and facilities to their members.
The partnership with John Donnelly, who was the driving force behind the Holiday Hypermarket in the 1990s, is designed to expand the company's portfolio of services, and will create a new division called EZE Bitz to provide money exchange, travel insurance, and car hire facilities.
Currently, EZE Group enables members to buy credits, which can be used on a wide range of leisure activities, including holidays, spa and city breaks, and entertainments like theatre and restaurant visits.
The collaboration with Mr Donnelly, and his company John Donnelly Associates, will allow them to diversify further and ultimately pay for their entire break with credits.
EZE Group's European CEO Dominic O'Reilly said: "Pairing up with someone of John Donnelly's calibre is a major boost for EZE Group and our members.
"John's knowledge, expertise and contacts will enable us to expand our service portfolio and provide a range of benefits for our members."
John Donnelly has held a number of senior posts in the travel industry - he was MD at companies including Harvey World Travel UK and First Choice Retail - but since leaving Harvey World Travel UK in 2007, he has helped businesses develop travel and affinity reward schemes.
He said: "The way people purchase holidays is changing rapidly and more are looking to buy using points or credits systems.
"EZE Group is at the forefront of the changes and our partnership will allow us to take advantage of this huge growth area."
EZE Group was formed in 2001 and now has offices throughout North America and Europe. Their services include helping those who are interested in selling timeshare, and advising holidaymakers on things to do in Tenerife, or other Canary Islands resorts.
