Photo Stencil AMTX E-Blade Reduces Material Waste and Improves Quality, Especially for the Lead-Free Print Process
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Photo Stencil, a leading full-service provider of high-performance stencils and tooling, announces a special 25% discount promotion of its AMTX® E-Blades. Photo Stencil's electroformed squeegee blade improves print deposition quality, uniformity, and consistency by offering a rigid, low-friction, hard-nickel edge for cleaner prints, reduced stencil wear, and less material waste.
“Those not attending the show will be able to take advantage of this offer starting February 28, 2012. The offer will run until May 1, 2012.”
Photo Stencil's AMTX electroformed nickel blade has an inherent low surface energy that allows print material to stay on the stencil and prevents curtaining. This reduces the amount of material required, and thereby waste, by up to 30%, which is especially advantageous when printing with lead-free materials. The 100% solid nickel blade is 45% harder than stainless steel blades so there is no soft coating or plating to wear, crack, or chip.
"You can see our AMTX E-Blades at the Photo Stencil booth #2419 at IPC APEX, where we will be offering a special 25% off APEX show discount. These blades have received acclaim for the printing performance they enable," said Rachel Miller-Short, VP of sales, Photo Stencil. "Those not attending the show will be able to take advantage of this offer starting February 28, 2012. The offer will run until May 1, 2012."
The AMTX E-Blades are proven to provide improved print definition and increased volume across the entire image. They are manufactured to fit any of the common metal squeegee holders including DEK, MPM, Fuji, EKRA, Panasonic, and Speedprint, and perfectly mate with Photo Stencil's AMTX E-FAB electroformed stencil technology and manufacturing process. These stencils have extremely smooth aperture walls which dramatically improve solder paste release, resulting in improved process yields and elimination of costly non-value added rework and potential scrap.
IPC APEX 2012 is being held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California from February 28 - March 1, 2012. A free invitation to the show exhibits can be found on the Photo Stencil website at www.photostencil.com.
