TÜV SÜD Awarded Compliance Testing Contract by Cobham

TÜV SÜD Product Service has received a GBP1.7 million contract from Cobham to provide environmental and EMC compliance testing services for its air-to-air refuelling systems. As part of the five year deal, TÜV SÜD will deliver testing, consultancy and design verification services to ensure that Cobham's systems satisfy compliance requirements.

Cobham is the global market leader for air-to-air refuelling, supporting over twenty air forces worldwide. TÜV SÜD will advise Cobham on compliance issues and contribute to design reviews to reduce time to market for new products. Advanced product testing equipment and verification expertise will be employed to help Cobham improve quality and promote standard operating processes across its business.

TÜV SÜD will be scaling up capacity at its sites to maintain current service levels, while supporting the new Cobham contract. The TÜV SÜD team will work both on and off-site, with Cobham able to access a remote monitoring service to review off-site tests in real time via a secure network.
