"Merging technology infrastructures can be challenging," said John Lakosil, Senior Manager, Law Department Administration. "Updating our legacy matter management systems to Passport will provide the combined company with a legal technology infrastructure that supports both our near-term operational needs, as well as allow us to evolve the system to support long-term legal strategy."
United is a long-time Datacert client, having used the company's legacy legal spend management and reporting solution for over 5 years.
Passport has been recently recognized by Hyperion Research, the leading analyst firm focused on legal technology and operations, for its industry-leading design and usability and extensive configuration and development tools. Since its launch just over a year ago, Passport has been selected by more than 25 companies and government entities, primarily Fortune/Fortune Global 500 corporations, such as CenturyLink [http://www.datacert.com/News/Releases/2010/100929.asp?source=PR032912 ] (formerly Qwest Communications), Johnson Controls [http://www.datacert.com/News/Releases/2011/110331.asp?source=PR032912 ], and Nissan International [http://www.datacert.com/News/Releases/2011/110628.asp?source=PR032912 ].
