GUADALAJARA, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) announced today that it had been notified by a federal court of last resort that the indefinite suspension ordered in GAP’s protection proceeding in defense of its by-laws was affirmed after an appeal by Grupo México, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Grupo México”) and the Mexican Banking and Securities Commission (the “CNBV).

This definite suspension remains in place and prevents the CNBV from issuing a decision regarding the public tender offer (the “OPA”) announced by Grupo México until the protection proceeding is resolved.

This decision confirms GAP’s position with respect to the validity of the Company’s by-laws and the appropriateness of the precautionary measures requested and subsequently ordered by the mercantile court in the Company’s defense of its investors’ interests (an event recently announced to the public in a press release).
