INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for February 2012. The Company generated 1.5 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was 8% higher than the same month last year, on an increase in capacity of 5% to 2.0 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 73,277 in February 2012, an increase of 3% from February 2011. Consolidated load factor was 74% in February of 2012, versus 72% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.2 million passengers during the month, which was 5% higher than the prior year.
