PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Sun Country Airlines announced a 25% discount for passengers ticketed on cancelled Direct Air flights between Kalamazoo, MI and Sanford, FL or Kalamazoo, MI and Punta Gorda, FL, from March 14, 2012, to May 15, 2012. The discount will be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket for travel now through May 6, 2012, on Sun Country nonstop flights between Lansing, MI and Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport). In order to receive the offer, customers must provide their ticket number or confirmation number and travel date on Direct Air and book by March 31, 2012.

Must be redeemed by 11:59PM CT (Central Time) on March 31, 2012 through the Sun Country Reservations department by calling 800-359-6786. Passengers must provide current and valid Direct Air ticket or confirmation number and travel dates to redeem stated discount. Stated 25% off discount is valid for both one-way and round-trip First Class and coach class fares. Discount is valid for travel from Lansing, MI to Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport) and from Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport) to Lansing, MI now through May 6, 2012.

Stated discount is not retroactive and cannot be applied to previously purchased tickets. 25% off discount cannot be purchased in conjunction with any promotions, discounts, ufly plus rates, SCV hotel and cruise packages or vouchers. Stated fares for select destinations are subject to availability. No credits or price adjustments can be made if the fare has changed after the ticket has been purchased. Seats are limited; space may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be changed for a $75 change fee plus the difference to the new fare. Reservations must be cancelled prior to the flight departure time in order to retain the value of the ticket for one year from the date of purchase. Names can be changed for a $75 per ticket fee. In the case of no-show all monies are forfeited and not returned to the passenger, no ticket credit remains.

Checked baggage can be pre-paid anytime from purchase of ticket up to one hour before domestic flights with the exception of two hours for Harlingen, Miami, Boston and San Francisco. Checked baggage may can be prepaid up to 24 hours on International flights. Passengers may save money by checking their first bag for $20 each way and check a second bag for $30 each way online or by calling reservations at 800-359-6786 (Toll-free) or 651-905-2737 (Minneapolis/St. Paul Local)or pay $25 each way for the first bag and a second bag fee of $35 each way if paid for at the airport; each bag is not to exceed 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) and 50 pounds. Additional bags, as well as bags over 62 linear inches and 50 pounds, are subject to excess baggage fees of $75 each additional piece of excess baggage.

Our carry-on policy provides each ticketed passenger the following allowance at no additional charge: One (1) carry-on bag which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 22” long x 14” wide x 9” tall (including wheels, handles, or any other protruding items), and may not exceed 35 pounds in weight. Passengers may also carry: One (1) smaller personal item (e.g., purse, laptop, etc.) which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 16” long x 11’’ wide x 8” tall.
