Starr Companies Launches Starr Aviation iPhone App
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Starr Companies announced that Starr Aviation, a division of Starr Indemnity & Liability Company, has launched its own Starr Aviation iPhone App available at no cost to the general public.
“At Starr, we are striving to simplify servicing, making it easier to do business with us. The Starr Aviation App allows our business partners and customers to manage their aviation insurance programs – wherever their business takes them.”
Available from the user’s mobile device, the Starr Aviation App provides relevant and easily accessible information to aviation insurance brokers, Starr policyholders and potential insureds. Functions include the ability to locate and contact the various Starr offices, find a local aviation insurance agent and consult an accident checklist.
Additionally, Starr Aviation allows both insureds and an insured’s broker to access their aviation policies directly from their mobile devices, a feature unique only to this mobile app currently within the aviation market. Insureds also have the option of reporting and filing a claim within the application.
Mr. Steve Blakey, Starr Aviation division executive, commented, “At Starr, we are striving to simplify servicing, making it easier to do business with us. The Starr Aviation App allows our business partners and customers to manage their aviation insurance programs – wherever their business takes them.”
The Starr Aviation App is currently available to download from the iTunes App Store. For more information, please contact Sloan Looney, Starr Aviation Business Relationship Manager, at 469-587-1103 or at [email protected].
