TBC Integration, Inc. Steps up Broadcast Master Control and Playout Solutions
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TBC Integration, Inc. (www.tbcintegration.com) - the leading equipment distributor and integrator of MPEG-4/DVB-S2 broadcast satellite video networks, conditional access, and subscriber management systems - has strengthened its broadcast master control and post-production system design capabilities with the hiring of industry veteran Larry A. Fischer as Director of Engineering.
“Larry Fischer contributes an expertise that is truly unique in the industry”
Mr. Fischer brings over 20 years of engineering and operations management experience as a broadcast technologist, notably at Warner Bros., where he oversaw WB Network master control and distribution operations.
“Larry Fischer contributes an expertise that is truly unique in the industry,” said Sean Busby, Executive Vice President of TBC Integration. “Clients wanting to design and integrate master control, playout, ingest, asset management, or distribution systems can now tap into Larry’s talent and vision when they work with TBC Integration.”
At Warner Bros., Mr. Fischer pioneered the broadcast industry’s use of digital satellite technology for the distribution of syndicated TV content and later High Definition (HD) programming. He also played a key role in the successful design, launch, and operation of the broadcast industry’s largest non-linear, store-and-forward advertising, and programming distribution network over satellite.
Mr. Fischer will be responsible for helping TBC Integration clients specify, design, build, and operate solutions for master control, playout, control rooms, and post-production suites, as well as linear and non-linear asset management and distribution systems.
Mr. Fischer is available to speak with broadcast, cable, video, and satellite industry media about future trends in content management and delivery.
