CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BravoSolution, the spend analysis company, announced today the hiring of Gregory S. Thomas, the former senior director of procurement solutions at PepsiCo. Thomas will serve as a member of BravoSolution’s consulting and sourcing education teams – tasked with helping companies accelerate procurement performance, increase technology adoption and bring more spend under management.
“After spending the past 25 years as a practitioner, I understand what it takes to build a successful procurement team, manage internal cost-cutting pressures and drive strong supplier relationships”
“BravoSolution’s continued success stems from our ability to provide customers with the perfect mix of people, process and technology,” said Marc Bergeron, general manager of BravoSolution U.S. “Greg is one of the most respected minds in procurement, and his front line experience as a practitioner will add immense value to our customers.”
Thomas brings more than 25 years of senior-level procurement and consumer packaged goods experience to BravoSolution. Prior to PepsiCo, Thomas held senior positions with Quaker Oats and Van den Bergh Foods, a division of Unilever.
“After spending the past 25 years as a practitioner, I understand what it takes to build a successful procurement team, manage internal cost-cutting pressures and drive strong supplier relationships,” said Thomas. “Today’s volatile landscape makes effective supply chain management more important and challenging than ever before.
