Allen Communication Supports Crew Training International (CTI) in Developing Training for the Predator Drone RPA
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allen Communication Learning Services, the leader in custom corporate training and instructional design, was proud to be selected by CTI to help develop the curriculum for a series of web-based training courses designed to introduce prospective remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) pilots and sensor operators to the vehicle’s systems.
“This meshed perfectly with CTI’s mission of training the best pilots in the world on the most advanced aircraft ever built.”
CTI is a vital part of the U.S. Air Force's critical and expanding Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) mission, and serves as the prime contractor for various training programs throughout the country responsible for training over 1,000 students per year. CTI chose Allen to assist in the development of a series of standalone web-based training (WBTs) courses that introduce learners to the basic topics and provide a foundation for subsequent instructor-led training sessions (ILTs) on the topics.
"We’re very pleased to have been selected by CTI to assist with the development of their web-based training courses," said Ron Zamir, president and CEO of Allen Communication. “Leveraging our 30 years of developing award-winning custom training and instructional design to assist in training the pilots of the future really is a dream project, and one our team tackled with excitement.”
"Allen’s previous work with customers such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Air Force has shown their ability to engage learners on complex, technical topics to provide learning with real impact,” said Dave Kaiser, Vice President and Chief Learning Officer of CTI. “This meshed perfectly with CTI’s mission of training the best pilots in the world on the most advanced aircraft ever built.”
