Frontier Airlines New Animal Search Down to Three
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eighteen tried, but only three survived. Frontier Airlines today announced that Chloe the Chipmunk, Enrique the Tree Frog and Polly the Parrot were chosen as the final three contenders in the Denver-based carrier’s search for a new “spokesanimal”. Voting on the final three starts today and ends Sunday, April 15, 2012, only at FrontierAirlines.com.
“Thousands visited our website and Facebook each day to learn more about the contenders and select their favorite animal. Now we need the public to help us one last time by visiting FrontierAirlines.com to cast their vote for one of the final three.”
“The 18 contenders received a tremendous outpouring of support from the public,” said Dan Krause, Frontier’s vice president of marketing and customer experience. “Thousands visited our website and Facebook each day to learn more about the contenders and select their favorite animal. Now we need the public to help us one last time by visiting FrontierAirlines.com to cast their vote for one of the final three.”
With only one week of voting to go, the contenders are applying some alternative tactics to get votes. All three participated in a debate late last night, moderated by Larry the Lynx. Clips of that debate will be available throughout the week on Frontier’s website at FrontierAirlines.com.
The top three are also planning to hit the streets of Denver and Colorado Springs this week in an attempt to win votes. Keep an eye on Frontier’s Facebook (Facebookcom/FrontierAirlines) and Twitter pages (Twitter.com/flyfrontier) for more details.
Fans voting for their candidate at FrontierAirlines.com will receive a special offer by email for a discount on future Frontier travel and will also be entered to win up to $2,500 in Frontier Fly Bucks. Fans can also visit Frontier’s Facebook page and enter to win a number of prizes including the new iPad, Kindle Fire and Frontier Fly Bucks.
