Groov-Pin Adds New Thread Repair and Evaluation Kit to Online Catalog
Dépèche transmise le 25 avril 2012 par Business Wire
SMITHFIELD, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Groov-Pin Corporation, a US-based provider of engineered fasteners and components, today announced the addition of a thread repair and evaluation kit to its online catalog. Groov-Pin’s online catalog features grooved pins and threaded inserts, used by manufacturers, product designers and engineers in aerospace, automotive, irrigation, firearms, and communications applications. Groov-Pin’s solid pins, threaded inserts and precision-turned components enhance product design, optimize lifetime quality, and reduce costs. Groov-Pin added the kit, which allows customers to easily install replacement threads in one-step, to its convenient on-line catalog, which features easy search and low-volume order placement.
“We added the kits to our online catalog -- which has broad part availability, takes low-volume orders and ships quickly -- to give our clients another way to efficiently order them when needed.”
Each thread repair and evaluation kit, used to repair damaged threads and/or install permanent threads in soft materials, retails for $75.00 and includes:
- one low-volume driver,
- one nut-bolt set-up,
- and various Speedserts® inserts, by size ordered.
“As more and more US manufacturers and product designers use our threaded inserts, requests have risen for our strong inserts for thread repair. These kits are ideal for simple repair during use or prototyping, and because they are installed in a single step, they take significantly less time than other options,” said Scot Jones, CEO, Groov-Pin. “We added the kits to our online catalog -- which has broad part availability, takes low-volume orders and ships quickly -- to give our clients another way to efficiently order them when needed.”
