GT Exhaust Releases A205-5100 and A205-6100 Silencers for Production, Expanding the A205 Product Line and Establishes Leadership in Sound Attenuation Capability
LINCOLN, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GT Exhaust of Lincoln, Nebraska announces the expansion of the A205 product line with the release of the A205-5100 and A205-6100 silencers. These rugged silencers have the most sound attenuation capability in its class, with a wide selection of inlet options. The A205-5100 and A205-6100 are for sound attenuation of internal combustion engines where ambient noises are moderate and sound attenuation requirements are moderate.
Designed to meet the needs of today’s sound attenuation market, the A205-5100 and A205-6100 silencers are well suited for heavy duty power generation, oil & gas and marine applications. With sound attenuation capability ranging from 25-35 and 32-42 dB(A), customers can be assured noise requirements will be met, while at the same time meeting engine backpressure requirements and cost constraints.
The A205-5100 and A205-6100 silencers are available in Style 1 and Style 2 configurations. Cuff inlet / Tube outlet is standard on 6” and under units, while ANSI flanges on inlet / outlet is standard on 8” and larger units. Standard construction is carbon steel with stainless steel options available. Powder coat paint is standard on silencers with 14” inlets and smaller, while high-heat black is standard on larger sizes.
Warranty is 3 years on powder coat painted silencers, 1 year on high-heat black painted silencers.
A full line of accessories for the silencers is available including mounting brackets, flex/bellows, wyes, elbows and rain caps.
Data sheets and associated information will be posted on the GT Exhaust web site.
