(Nasdaq: NSYS), a global leader in the supply and manufacturing of machine vision digital and analog video cable and cable assemblies based in the United States, introduces its MIL-DTL-38999 circular connector option for Intercon’s Camera Link^® cable assembly product line.

Intercon 1’s new MIL-DTL-38999 connector option provides a rugged bulkhead connection for severe environmental applications. The integration of a 38999 connector into a Camera Link^® cable assembly allows for the isolation of the camera from the computer, providing protection from harmful elements such as vibration, moisture, salt spray, sand or extreme temperatures.

The MIL-DTL-38999 connector has long been a reliable connector solution for the U.S. military. The integration of the 38999 connector into an Intercon 1 Camera Link^® cable assembly provides unsurpassed quality and dependability in the most severe environmental applications. 38999-fitted Intercon 1 Camera Link^® cable assemblies can be found in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), environmental isolation chambers, and where a hermetic seal is required to prevent moisture or gases from wicking through the cable assembly.
