ManTech Awarded $46 Million Contract to Provide Flight Test Support for NAVAIR Manned and Unmanned Air Vehicle Evaluation Division
FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Navy has awarded ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) a contract to provide flight test support solutions for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Manned and Unmanned Air Vehicle Evaluation Division (AIR 5.1.6). The contract has a three-year period of performance and a value of $46 million.

AIR 5.1.6’s charter is to integrate, test and evaluate: aircraft flying qualities and performance, propulsion systems; mechanical systems, air vehicle subsystems, structures, shipboard interoperability, air traffic control and landing systems; and mission planning systems. Under the AIR 5.1.6 contract, ManTech will provide program management, flight test engineering, software development and test, air vehicle stores compatibility, ballistics analysis and modeling, simulation and analysis solutions.
