Dépèche transmise le 17 avril 2012 par PRNewswire
ZURICH, April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
After a first extension of its Airport Conference Centre in May 2009 the Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport is to undertake another infrastructure expansion project by adding additional meeting and function facilities on the 8th floor of its Airport Conference Centre in September 2012.
This new project will emphasise the role of the Zurich airport hotel [http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-zurichairport ] as one of Switzerland's leading convention and congress hotels, offering the country's most comprehensive range of meeting facilities with 58 meeting rooms, business lounges and two Business Services Desks spread over three floors and covering a surface of over 4000 square metres. At the same time, the hotel will add 54 private and covered parking spaces with direct access to the Conference Centre responding to an increased demand of complete privacy, especially from corporate clients in the finance, consulting and executive search business.
The convention floors reflect the style of the modern yet harmonically designed areas already existing in the business-lifestyle hotel Zurich [http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-zurichairport/location ]. A sophisticated interior design featuring warm earth colors - mixed with striking color effects and combined with high-quality materials such as wood, tainted glass and copper panels - as well as furniture and lamps by well-known designers like Jasper Morrison, Philippe Starck, Hannes Wettstein, Alfredo Haberli and Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni creates an atmosphere that is at once luxurious and relaxing. In addition to comprehensive infrastructure and contemporary design, a number of rooms also offer breathtaking views over airport and air traffic through quadruple-pane, sound-proof and ceiling-high windows. All of the 58 Zurich airport meeting rooms [http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-zurichairport/meetings ] offer natural light as well as individual designs and names referring to European cities with regular flight service to and from Zurich International Airport or the names of Swiss regions.
The video-conferencing room for time and cost-saving real-time conferences over distance, which can accommodate up to six participants, is unique for Switzerland. Three elegantly furnished guest offices with a fully equipped working and relaxation area, two Executive Day Rooms with working area, couch bed and bathroom, as well as a spacious shower-room area, are designed to meet the highest standards of business travellers who wish to make the most of their transit stop in Zurich.
Two fully equipped Business Services Desks with secretary and office services and four Executive Lounges - two of which with a balcony offering spectacular views over Zurich Airport - round up this exceptional range of meeting facilities. Nespresso coffee machines are also included in every room.
As well as the expanded conference facilities, the hotel also offers 330 rooms of Zurich airport accommodation [http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-zurichairport/rooms ].
