Unitech Achieves Northrop Grumman DPD Certification

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Unitech Composites and Structures, a member of the AGC Composites Group, is pleased to announce the achievement of Fully Approved DPD Certification through Northrop Grumman. The certification facilitates a more efficient communication process between Unitech and Northrop Grumman through the electronic exchange of model-based engineering data.

Digital Product Definition (DPD) are the electronic data elements that specify the geometry and all design requirements for a product, as well as the use of this data throughout an integrated system using computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), and coordinated measurement systems (CAD/CAM). “This new certification achievement reflects our continuing commitment to leading-edge quality and process improvement,” said Rick Hundley, President of Unitech.
