Bluelon and Real Time Engineering Partner to Bring Terminal Performance, Queue Measurement and Trending Solutions to Airports
COPENHAGEN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bluelon and Real Time Engineering, a business unit of Sword Group, announced today that they are partnering to bring Terminal Performance and Queue Measurement solutions to market. Real Time and Bluelon's combined software and hardware solutions will bring airports more choices in how to manage and control their terminal performance for optimal commercial airline carrier and passenger satisfaction, and operational cost savings. The announcement was made today at the 2009 Passenger Terminal EXPO in London, the world's largest Passenger Terminal exposition.
iQueue Server Suite, that integrates with Real Time’s FirstPlanIT® management software, provide detailed insight into operational demands, trends and analysis, as well as the ability to benefit from advanced forecasting and modeling techniques to create accurate forward pictures of passenger and baggage flow through airports enabling visualization of future operational demands.
Bluelon's iQueue Server Suite is a key component of a terminal performance systems and resource management system. The iQueue Server Suite can interface, monitor and collect data from virtually any existing data providing device such as most integrated metal detector passenger counting systems. The iQueue Server Suite additionally features a large selection of optional functionality add-in extension components and provides a comprehensive open standard based SOAP server API for custom data integration. It is typically used in airports, train stations, public road applications and other businesses, as well as for monitoring movements in theme parks.
