MSP Cart & Kiosk Program Provides Exciting Opportunity for Small Retailers to Reach Millions of Customers
MINNEAPOLIS & ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) invites qualified entrepreneurs interested in operating a retail cart at the Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport to submit a proposal. The carts will be located on Concourse C of the Lindbergh Terminal, near the Northwest/Delta Sky Club and two automated tram stops.
This entrepreneurial opportunity offers retailers a high-volume environment and a dynamic atmosphere to reach a generally upscale market. Successful vendors will be those who can merchandise product geared toward fast-paced, trend-smart airport customers. Minimum retail experience of one year is required. MAC will provide the carts, so no construction costs will be incurred by the winning proposers.
MSP is one of the nation’s busiest Airports, with over 34 million passengers per year, and was voted North America’s Best Airport in its size category by Airport Council International’s 2008 Air Service Quality survey. MAC has completed significant upgrades and additions to the airport facility to boost traveler satisfaction. These efforts were recognized recently when MSP won the Airport Revenue News Frequent Traveler Award for Best Retail Shops.
