Qantas Launches New Travel Agent Resources
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Qantas Airways launched two new communication resources to assist travel agents in their ability to better serve their customers - a toll-free travel agency support phone line and a dedicated North America industry travel agent sales web site.
The new agency support phone number (800.227.4795) is staffed Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST and provides timely assistance with agent rebated travel, published and net fair guidelines, refund authorities, product information and Qantas policies and procedures.
Qantas’ online web site (www.qantas.com/us/agents) enables fast and easy access to the latest Qantas news, product, policy and fare details, route and aircraft seat maps, along with contact and training information specifically for travel agents.
“We are always looking for ways to enhance our communication with travel professionals and these tools will save valuable research and processing time, enabling increased efficiencies for agents as they book travel with Qantas,” said Wally Mariani, Qantas Airways senior executive vice president, The Americas and Pacific.
Qantas is the only airline offering A380 service to the U.S., with A380 non-stop flights from Los Angeles to Sydney and to Melbourne featuring aircraft interiors designed by internationally renowned industrial designer and Qantas Creative Director Marc Newson. Providing 46 flights a week from the U.S., Qantas offers 38 from Los Angeles (to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland), five from San Francisco, a daily direct service from JFK and three from Honolulu. A leader in inflight entertainment, all Qantas mainland departures feature on demand video and audio selections for movies, TV programs, radio and games in all classes.
