BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (“Company”), a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services for the U.S. Government, today announced that a jury in the Circuit Court of Dale County, Alabama found in favor of the Company in its complaint against GE Capital Aviation Services, Inc. (“GECAS”). The jury awarded the Company $2.1 million in compensatory damages and $6.5 million in punitive damages. The Company performed cargo conversion work for GECAS in 2003 at a former subsidiary located in Dothan, Alabama. Ronald Aramini, Alabama Aircraft’s President and CEO, stated, “We are extremely pleased with the jury’s verdict and their finding that we should be properly compensated for the quality work performed by the workers at our former subsidiary located in Dothan, Alabama.”
