NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Heathrow Express is the fastest, most stylish and hassle-free way to get to and from Heathrow Airport. With no traffic or lines to worry about, you can be in the center of London, or right inside Heathrow Airport, in just 15 minutes.
Departing Paddington station every fifteen minutes, Heathrow Express delivers an airline-style experience the moment you step through the doors, at a fraction of the cost or environmental impact of a taxi or car service.
Heathrow Express is offering a free upgrade this summer, when you book online at www.heathrowexpress.com/US09. The offer is bookable from April 1st, and valid for travel from June 15th to August 31st, 2009.
The First Class cabin delivers a high-end travel experience in these times of cost containment. These stylish cabins feature plush leather-trimmed seats and personal tables. Sink into an extra-large seat, and enjoy the extra leg-room.
Then either settle down with complimentary copies of magazines, newspapers or use the extendable tables to catch up on some work. With Onboard TV, Internet Wi-Fi access and uninterrupted cell coverage, even in the 6km of tunnels you won't waste a moment.
Heathrow Express cabins are level with the platform, making it easier to get your luggage onboard. All cabins are climate controlled and include modern, accessible toilet facilities.
A one way ticket in Express Class is £16.50 and a round trip ticket is £32.00, if purchased from the ticket office or machine from London Paddington to Heathrow Airport. The upgrade is offer is only valid with online bookings.
Heathrow Express will also launch in-flight ticket sales with American Airlines from June 1st, so you can buy your tickets before arriving at Heathrow Airport to ensure seamless travel.
Also this summer, children travel free, when booked online after April 1st, for travel from June 15th to August 31st, 2009. This offer is for children aged between five and 15 years when traveling with a fare paying adult and tickets must be booked at www.heathrowexpress.com
Heathrow Express can also help you with your onward journey with a taxi sharing scheme at Paddington station. Operated in conjunction with the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association, between 8:30am and 10:30am Monday to Friday, this program groups together people riding to the same city zone, reducing waiting time and fares significantly. Look out for Taxi Share signs, or ask the taxi marshals.
