Innovative Solutions & Support Enters into Agreement with Rheinland Air Service to Distribute PC-12 FPDS in Europe

EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSC) today announced that the Company has entered into an agreement with Rheinland Air Service (RAS) based in Germany, to act as a distributor and installer of Innovative Solutions & Support’s (IS&S) Cockpit/IP™ Flat Panel Display System (FPDS) for PC-12 aircraft in Europe.
“Currently, we have IS&S’ Cockpit/IP installed on our Demonstrator PC-12 aircraft, and are incredibly pleased with its performance,” says Johannes Graf von Schaesberg, Chairman and CEO of Rheinland Air Service. “We welcome the opportunity to bring such a versatile FPDS to our customers throughout Europe.”
Under this agreement with RAS, IS&S’ FPDS for PC-12 aircraft will be available to customers in Albania, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldavia, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
IS&S’ retrofitted PC-12 aircraft also will be available to customers in Turkey. RAS is based in Mönchengladbach, Germany, situated close to Dusseldorf, and has served as a dealer, distributor, and consultant for avionics installations and modifications for more than 30 years. RAS operates a Comprehensive Service Center out of Mönchengladbach Airport.

Last July, IS&S announced new upgrades for retrofitted PC-12 aircraft. As part of that initiative, the Company offers customers the option of a single-sided and dual sided Cockpit/IP ™ retrofit as well as WAAS performance to allow PC-12 operators to fly precision approaches at smaller airports and group RVSM certification to allow pilots access to more fuel efficient airspace.
