Air China Launches Online Check-In and Frequent Flyer Services on Its European Websites

BEIJING, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the launch of the online check-in service on its Chinese website for flights departing from London and Stockholm international airports, Air China today launched the same service on the Company's U.K. and Sweden-based websites. At the end of April, this time-saving and convenient feature was enabled from the U.K. website for Air China operated flights departing from London Heathrow, and is to be followed by Stockholm-Arlanda Airport and the Swedish website in May.

From 14:00 one day before departure time till three hours before departure time, passengers can log on the official local website to check-in online, select their favorite seats and print their boarding pass on plain A4 paper. Once at the airport, travelers can check-in their baggage at the dedicated check-in counters.

Moreover, Air China has successfully launched an online enrollment feature for its Frequent Flyer Program on all European websites. Now one can profit from the benefits of being a Phoenix Miles member just by filling out the form online. During the first quarter of the year more than 800 new members have enrolled through these websites.
